I am getting the LapBand!

I finally got to meet with the Doctor. I am really excited about the opportunity to get this surgery done. For someone who has issues with weight and is really looking for a total life change, this process is an excellent beginning. The one thing that I have learned through the time I have been on this journey isnthat the people in Bariatrics really do want to help. Like my Dr. said, this surgery is not the "silver bullet." It is a process of healthy eating, portion control, exercise and positive support.

If you have been going through the same thing I have - fatigue, aching joints, depression and just right out not feeling healthy - why don't you give the lap-band a little research.
